Pessoal, sei que algumas coisas são muitos difíceis, mas contar até 10 creio que não é tanto. Os números em inglês de 1 a 10 são um pouco estranhos realmente. Mas se você compará-los 1 a 1 vai ver que eles são muito parecidos com os nossos em português, exceto os números 4(four ) e 5(five ) é claro!

Os números em inglês do onze ao dezenove - Uma coisa interessante nos números do doze ao dezenove, é que eles usam as iniciais dos números básicos (do um ao dez) mais a terminação teen, para formar os números em inglês do onze ao dezenove. As únicas exceções à esta regra são os números onze e doze em inglês. Dessa forma, fica mais fácil lembrar a escrita e pronúncia destes números. Números Ordinais

Os números ordinais em português são fáceis no começo, mas conforme os números vão aumentando ficam bem difíceis.
Primeiro, segundo, terceiro, quinquasésimo....

Em inglês, entendo, que não mais simples. Os números que terminam com -1 a direita: 1, 11(exceção), 111,1111... (tem a palavra first no final)
Os números que terminam com -2 a direita: 2,12(exceção),22,32... (tem a palavra second no final)
Os números que terminam com -3 a direita: 3,13(exceção),23,33...(tem a palavra third no final)
Os outros números terminam em -TH, que parece com um s com a língua colada nos dentes.

Números (Nível Intermediário)

No uso norte-americano, os números de quatro dígitos sem zero são frequentemente pronunciados usando múltiplos de "cem", e combinado com dez ou uns: One thousand one (1001), ELeven hundred three (1103), twelve hundred twenty-five (1225). No uso britânico, esse estilo é comum para múltiplos de 100 entre 1.000 e 2.000 (por exemplo, 1.500 como "fifteen hundred"), mas não para os números mais elevados.

Os americanos podem pronunciar-se números de quatro dígitos sem zero e uns como pares dedois algarismos, sem dizer "hundred" e inserindo a palavra "oh" para os números zero: twenty-six fifty-nine(2659) ou forty-one oh five (4105).

Quando escrito em um cheque, o número 100 é sempre escrito "one hundred" e nunca "a hundred".

Em Inglês Americano, muitos estudantes são ensinados a não usar a palavra "and" (e) em qualquer lugar em toda a parte de um número, de modo que não é usado antes das dezenas e unidades. Entretanto, é usado como um delimitador verbal em números compostos. Assim, em vez de "trezentos e seventa e três", diria "trezentos setenta três".

Para os números acima de um milhão, existem dois sistemas diferentes para nomear os números em Inglês (para o uso de sufixos como-quilo por mil, para um mega-milhões, mili para um milésimo, etc consulte as unidades SI):

Na Inglaterra, ainda existe uma regra onde o número 1.000.000.000 é chamado milliar (milhardo) e não bilhão como nos EUA e no Brasil.
