ALFABETO FONÉTICO AMERICANO
O alfabeto fonético internacional é um modo muito útil de demonstrar a pronúncia(som) da língua estrangeira que estamos estudando. Este tipo de simbbologia é muito utilizado na maioria dos dicionários. É aconselhável para o iniciante no estudo da LÍNGUA INGLESA que decore e aprenda todos estes símbolos. Pois ficará impossível ler corretamente as palavras do dicionário sem conhecer estes símbolos. Por isso esforça-te e tem bom ânimo!

Uma das principais dificuldades daqueles que estão aprendendo inglês é realmente a pronúncia correta das palavras em inglês. Abaixo resumimos os principais sons em inglês para você treinar em casa.
Alguns sons da tabela acima são simples para o aluno brasileiro é o caso dos sons que nós grifamos de vermelho, porém os sons marcados em azul são uma pedra no sapato de alunos iniciantes e não iniciantes.
